BECAUSE WE CARE!
Community Restoration Projects
Perpetual Care has been granted the approval to begin two community involved restoration projects starting in 2024. The first of these projects is the cleaning and restoration of the veteran headstones. Many of these are showing the signs of age and are in need of care. The second of these projects is the recovery of the many buried and overgrown foot stones. Please see the information below for additional details and if you would like to take part, please fill out and submit the form at the bottom of the page. We look forward to working with the community in bringing these projects to fruition.

Veteran Headstone Restoration
We are currently looking for 10 volunteers to undertake this restoration project. Following the National Cemetery Administration guidelines, the primary task will be removing algae, lichen, moss, mold, or mildew growth and stains from the Vet stones. A preliminary date has been set for May 10th through 11th, 2024*. This is a long term project that we hope to conclude by the end of next year, the first phase of the project will begin in the "Old Veteran" section that runs along the highway corridor in the southwest section of the cemetery. The second phase, which will be scheduled for a later date, will then continue with the cleaning of the veteran headstones that are individually dispersed throughout the rest of the grounds. Buckets, brushes, cleaning solution, protective gear, and sprayers will be provided. Bottled water will also be available. If you have any further questions, please include them in the form below.
